how much will it cost to get a middle/high school athletic program started for a 1000 student school?
i want to open up a boarding school in st. louis in about 10 years. how much do you reckon it must cost to initiation up an athletic program? we’ll need to buy uniforms and equipment for V and JV girls and boys soccer, V,JV, FR football, V and JV softball, V, JV, and FR baseball, V field hockey, V, JV, FR volleyball, V, JV, FR cheerleading, V, JV, FR boys and girls basketball, V wrestling, V boys an girls swimming, boys and girls track, boys and girls golf, water polo, and girls lacrosse. i reckon we must build a stadium that will hold soccer, field hockey, football, and lacrosse, surrounded by a track, 2 grass practice fields, a small practice room with turf, 2 baseball fields, a wrestling room, a pool, and an indoor facility with 2 gyms, 6 locker rooms, 2 shower rooms, a storm safety room, coaches offices, a film room, and a small weight room and cardio facility. how much do you reckon this will be plus coaches salaries? is it too much? too modest?
i reckon it will be more than 15,000, i believe when i checked the standardized and equip costs it was about 20,000.

Why does the IOC limit the number of sporting events (disciplines)?
I have been trying to figure out why the IOC limits the number of generous disciplines to be featured in the Olympics. I read their charter and it doesn’t give reasons for their reasoning behind it, just that they do it and that’s that. While there are many different events included in certain events (i.e. beach volleyball and indoor volleyball are painstaking one discipline; swimming, diving and water polo all fall under the aquatics category), it is silly that baseball and softball are going to have to fight to get their position in the Olympics back in 2012 against the likes of Rugby, Golf, and Karate. So I want to know why everyone can’t join if they meet the required criteria?

i mean white men dominated over 90% of sports and has win over 85% of medals in olympic games history!in same time he is a minority wordwide in view of the fact that blacks and asians are way more!
look the olympic list of sports and compare white sportsperson vs the black one for model who is very athletic
why white man dominate everything except track events and baskeball(even tho the first 3 medalist 1 team was black and 2 all caucasian but ok)
