installing an accon pop-up cleat in your boat
More: heli-chair.com We videotaped the installation of one of the stainless steel pop up cleats that we used on the boat. we clamped the backing plate on the top surface of the fiberglass hull, used a dremel tool with router bit to profile the opening, then came back in with a sanding bit to round everything off a bit and make it smooth. the vacuum cleaner is a must to keep the fiberglass dust from being inhaled. sorry for the high frequency noise, that’s just what a dremel and vacuum do on video. when doing this in real life, ear plugs are a must! acon

I got cleated and it's oozing/pulsing blood.?
I play travel fastpitch softball. I recently was cleated in my left leg and the metal part of the cleat went in my leg leaving 2 huge gashes. I looked down because it hurt so terrible I couldnt get up and I noticed my pants already had blood on them like quite a bit. My leg was tingly/numb from the cut and below. I started freaking out. The bleeding wasnt like a habitual light bleeding it was thick and was like it was pulsing out of my body. It was also a dark red color. Must I have went to the dr. It stopped bleeding completely about a couple hours later. But now that it’s healed it’s still reaaalllyyyyy tender as if not all the skin healed back there. It happened about 7 months ago it kinda feels like a bruise that doesn’t heal

I've got a fractured Fifth Metatarsal, what can I do? How can I help the bone heal?
Hi everyone,
Monday night I was playing football, and my cleat got caught in the turf, and well I broke my fifth metatarsal, which I found out when I went to the ER the next morning (I formerly didn’t reckon it was broke).
Anyway, I go back to see the orthopedic general practitioner on Tuesday, but I’m getting restless. At the ER they only place a splint/wrap on my foot all the way up to very nearly my knee.
I can already walk on it lightly with modest pain, and well I was wondering what I can do. I am interested in biking, but was wondering if that would place too much stress on it.
The other thing I was curious about is what kind of foods/ supplements help promote bone growth? (I went to GNC and got Calcium Citrate/Vitamin D pills)
Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Would it be dangerous to wear turf cleats on grass?
I tore my ACL, wearing a pair of Nike Vapor Carbons (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=nike+vapor+carbon&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=8577482870924613229&sa=X&ei=vuJJTrqDKerTiAKAm8CBBw&ved=0CFAQ8wIwAg) those ones. I tore it playing on grass and I’m curious as to whether the cleat, being a turf cleat, had anything to do with this. Like is it perilous for me to use this cleat on grass even though it’s a turf cleat? the reason I tore my ACL was because the cleat wedged right into the ground and didn’t budge as a grass cleat might have. Could this be perilous for the future? Must I get rid of these cleats? Or was it simply a freak accident?
