I mean god, I watched Nickelodeaon all morning.” Trina Waldrof said to her Constance Billiard classmates, Maddie Farkus and Sammie Coates. “My mother cooked him a omelet, and I didn’t even know she knew how to use the stove.” Trina tucked her long dark hair behind her ear and took a swig of her mothers scotch out of the crystal tumbler in her hand. “What shows did you watch?” Maddie questioned, picking a stray brown hair off of her sweater. “Maddie, really? Who cares? All that matters is my mom and her boyfriend were meeting downstairs in red bathrobes, having a romantic breakfast. They didnt even shower. Yuck” Trina said crinkling her nose as if she had smelled the foulest smell. The only way to tolerate her mothers new boyfriend was to get drunk, very drunk. Luckily trina and her friends came from that kind of family, the kind of family everywhere drinking is as common as blowing your nose. They believed that if they did not restrain the alcohol, their children were less likely to abuse it, same with drugs and sex-as long as you kept your appearences up, it was alright.
